In order to support and develop businesses, especially small and medium-sized enterprises and women-owned enterprises, the People's Committee of Binh Duong province has issued a number of support programs and policies as follows:

1. Plan No. 3953/KH-UBND dated August 14, 2020 on Supporting Small and Medium Enterprises in 2021 in the province with some main objectives and contents as follows:

(a) Objectives:

- Implement synchronously and effectively the contents of supporting SMEs specified in the Law on Supporting SMEs and guiding documents; in order to accelerate the development of SMEs in the province; attracting investment capital for development and job creation; create a favorable, equal and stable investment and business environment for SMEs to contribute increasingly to the province's socio-economic development; contribute to improving the province's competitiveness and international economic integration.

(b) Main supporting content:

  • Supporting SME human resource development
  • Training in entrepreneurship and business administration.
  • Vocational training support.
  • Supporting small and medium-sized businesses through a network of consultants
  • Support 100% of consulting contract value for at least 03 micro enterprises. Funding support does not exceed 03 million VND / 1 enterprise.
  • Support 30% of consulting contract value for at least 05 small businesses. The support cost is not more than 05 million VND / 1 enterprise.
  • Support 10% of consulting contract value for at least 10 medium enterprises. Funding support does not exceed 10 million VND / 1 enterprise.

  • Implementation time: third quarter of 2021

2. Policies and programs to support women starting a business in Binh Duong province:

Implement the project "Supporting women to start a business in the period of 2018-2025" in Binh Duong province. Provincial Women's Union has propagated through various forms such as through women's flyers, its website, training courses, organized women's start-up day... and directed the Women's Unions of districts, towns, The city and its affiliated units promote propaganda activities to raise the awareness of officials, members, and women about the Party and State's guidelines, policies and laws on entrepreneurship and business development in order to promote business development. women's entrepreneurship movement. This is a project with practical and effective content to help members and women develop comprehensively, contributing to the construction of Binh Duong Smart City.

Although just started, in 2018, all levels of associations in the province have established 4 cooperatives (Tan Hiep Phat Household Garment Cooperative of Phu Giao District Women's Union with 7 members, total investment capital of 200 million An Binh Environment Cooperative of the Women's Union of Di An Town with 8 members, total charter capital of over VND 1.2 billion; Loc Phat Cooperative of the Women's Union of Dau Tieng district with 10 members, total Investment capital is 484 million VND; Nam Hang Agricultural, Commercial and Service Cooperative of Bac Tan Uyen District Women's Union has 7 members, total initial investment capital is more than 4.3 billion VND). During the year, associations established 23 new cooperative groups with 170 members, bringing the total number of cooperative groups to 39 groups with 307 members; established 2 new association groups with 22 members, increasing the number of existing association groups to 10 groups with 214 members. Activities of cooperatives, cooperative groups and association groups have contributed to creating jobs for laborers in the area.

“Today, as society develops, the role of women is also increasingly affirmed. In order to continue to rise, women need to train in character, morality, body, soul and ability, creativity and social responsibility, civic duty, and a sense of law observance.

In addition, the province also issued Plan No. 823/KH-UBND dated March 4, 2021 on implementing the Prime Minister's Decision No. 2282/QD-TTg dated December 31, 2020 approving the program "strengthening" equal participation of women in leadership and management positions at all levels of policy-making, period 2021-2030" in Binh Duong province.
